Pretty good rankings, other than Malik Scott. I would put Abner Mares in at 10 after last night, instead of Scott.

 

Gonzalez is a super hard hitter at 126. Getting cracked doesn't mean you have glass jaw. Mares took shots from many guys when he went through a murderer's row of opponents only being down once before last night.

This glass jaw talk is out of control.

 

Glass jaws exist in boxing. and there is nothing wrong with talking about them on a boxing forum.

Mares was put down by Darchinyan, and wobbled by other fighters. His chin isn't the worst ever, but it's not exactly Oliver McCall's either.

 

Never mentioned they should be talked about, but as soon as someone gets cracked and dropped he has a glass jaw? Mares has only touched the canvas once before. There is no trend, he got touched last night and went down.

By someone the dumb people's logic on this board, Manny should be on the list. he has been down more than Mares.

 

Uh, Mares is not British. Neither are other well-known glass jawed fighters like James Kirkland, Deontay Wilder, Victor Ortiz, Bad Glass Jawson, or Zab Judah.

Hell, glass jawed hype job Jason Litzau called himself "the All-American Boy" or something like that! How much more non-British do you need to get to satisfy you overly-sensitive types??:rofl:rofl

 

How can anyone put Audley below anyone? Audley is the all time number 1.

If Judah is a glass jaw then how does he survive Garcia and Matthysse and others... Floyd, Clottey, made it 11 rounds with Cotto...

Now I'm not saying he has a good chin, but he's shattered only once and that was against Kostya. He's absorbed good punishment from strong opposition in other cases. Doesn't belong in the same category as guys that routinely get lit up by single shots.

 

Our thoughts are that you're one corny mofo. These guys do the fighting and take all of the risks, and you do the cheap, phony ass criticizing of guys that you dreamed about being, but never had the guts to become-a fighter.

Glass jaws exist, football players get hit hard, bball players get dunked on, tennis players get out hit, soccer players get outhustled and juked. Great pitchers give up 500 foot hr's. We know that boxers get knocked out.

We just don't like that part of the sport being glorified at the expense of your pathetic armchair outlook. You're not a judge on anything clowns.
