there certainly seems to be quite a few Glass Jawed jokes in Boxing lately. Why do you think this is? I have noticed within the last few years it seems like more and more prospects have a fragile Glass Jaw. Thoughts? :think
If there were that many 'glass jawed jokes' in boxing then you would have plenty of fresh material and wouldn't have to keep including David Haye in your top ten lists on the basis of him being stopped on his feet six years ago....
No when I really want to ridicule Glass Jawed 'fighters' I just tune into MMA those guys get KOed by Jabs for christ sakes! Either way Haye has basically admitted he has a fragile Glass Jaw.
Wlad has a fragile glass jaw. I think as the heavyweight champion of the world he is infecting up and coming prospects with glass-jaw-itis.
I agree with the other poster, David Haye doesn't belong on the list. His record says that he's been stopped once, when he was on his feet and the corner though in the towel (in one of the great British domestic fighters ever, btw) Not to say he's Mr Iron Chin or anything, he's definetly not, but there is no hard evidence to say he's glass jawed either, flash knockdowns don't mean anything. Being KO'd cold does, and that's never even come close to happening really.
If there was no one with glass jaws you'd probably have nothing to talk about and would lose interest in boxing
Haye is British though - so automatically makes Rico's glass jaw list. Funnily enough his favourite fighter Wlad Klitschko who has been brutally KOd three times and on the deck about 15 times doesn't have glass jaw according to Rico.
