I don't know much about either fighter but correct me if I am wrong. Rhodes is a southpaw and Canelo never faced a southpaw in his career. This will be the main ingredient in this fight. The right hand will destroy Rhodes face if he can deal with the southpaw stance.

 

So are we saying that any fighter who has been floored or even wobbled is a glass chinned flake ? is that it ?

miguel cotto was in serious trouble many times at 140 from single punches. they attributed this to him cutting weight which appears to be the case as he never was really hurt from one single punch at 147 and 154. it was always an accumulation(paq/margorito).

canelo was definately hurt against jose cotto, a career lw. this also could be attributed by the weight cut. we wont know until canelo is hit clean by a true 154, which will be the case tonight.

there is a tremendous amount of money riding on canelo's success tonight. maybe gbp should have had canelo fight a b-list 147-lber(estrada,abregu,gomez) with adequate power before having him face career 154-lber rhodes.
