I would challenge most people - fighters or not - To take a flush leben left to the back of their head and not be wobbled.

Silva's punch resistance is all but gone, but fair is fair.

That was a sloppy arm punch that hit him over the ear. Hendo or Anderson wouldn't have been wobbled by it and yet Wanderlei was staggering around in a stupor trying to grab a Thai clinch. That punch wouldn't have "KOed anybody".

Chuck Liddell and Shamrock's chin eroded with AGE!! That's not the same as a glass jaw you ****in tool. Its just a testament to the wars they've been in.

You listed Forrest Griffin and people who have been in wars and punch resistance has diminished. You're a ****ing failure. Troll on the lounge or the general, not here.

Not even to mention you're a lot more likely to be knocked out in MMA than in boxing, considering the plentiful amount of ways to hit the ground and the gloves are lighter.

I'll take a Klitschko right hand before I'd take a Shogun Rua knee from the clinch.

yeah, i actually think he has a pretty good chin, carwin and velasquez fed him enough leather to put most guys on a stretcher.

he just stops fighting back even though he is still there, he has no guts (pun intended).

This list is BS, Prime Lidell had one of the best chins in the sport but it got worse with age, same for Shamrock and Wanderlei. Griffin has been in wars he has absolutely no glass jaw, also Lesnar he has one of the best chins today Carwin destroyed him a whole round and he wasnt ko`d (Carwin knocked Mir and Gonzaga with one punch, nobody hits harder than him) Velasquez couldnt ko him too, the ref had to stop the fight.

Please don't feed these worthless attention whores. They're just doing this for a wind up or are total ***** clowns, so you'll miss out on nothing by just ignoring them.

You raise a good point. I've never quite thought of it that way. The thing is, although I've seen some MMA fights that were really action-packed (Lidell particularly), the majority seem to end up with that boring roll around on the ground crap.

However, if guys are throwing punches and glass jaws are getting shattered, it might be worth sitting through that stuff now and again!!!! If Khan has an iron chin by comparison, you know these guys are packing some serious china!

Age and wear are the reasons their jaws are jellified, but they go down from a light breeze on the chops so therefore they are GLASS JAWED JOKES these days.

Forrest's chin was shattered in '06 by feather fisted Jardine and he hadn't had a ton of "wars" by that time. Just because KOs are more likely due to the gloves and added weapons doesn't mean that glass jaws don't exist, in fact it just gives you more opportunities to see them.

Read my posts numbnuts, I admit that Liddell's chin was great in its prime. It was, however, so ****ing shitty in his twilight that it had to go on the All-Time Glass list. Shamrock never had a great chin and neither did Wanderlei. Wanderlei had amazing recovery time but Shamrock was at best average and chinny for much of his career. Saku laid him out with a single punch and he's certainly no SRR with his hands.

As for Griffin, no, he hasn't been in plenty of wars. He's been in two fights where he took lots of strikes and those were both against Stephen Bonnar who is even more feather fisted than Jardine. Every other time he got cracked by somebody not named Bonnar he went down. He built his reputation as an iron chinned brawler by arm punching six rounds with fellow "I can't bust a grape" puncher Bonnar and has lived off that reputation ever since when in reality his fights are generally point sparring clinics with loads of takedowns.

So, who gets their china chin shattered next? I think Minotoro will probably check Franklin's chump chops at 133 and Rivera/Sakara will be an excellent fight for the potential of shattered glass on both sides. Forrest will probably get his beard busted against Rua if he chooses to stand and Minotauro is going to get his ancient glass shattered yet again by Schaub.

I dont think Liddell had an all time great chin, think about all the times he was rocked or dropped strikes, Pele, Guy Mezger, overeem, Rampage .. ect Chuck had good recovery though same as wandy.

    Definitely not glass jaw though.
