Couple things I'll address in order. Broner has a **** ton of hype. Like Alvarez, some is positive, most is negative. I don't know where you're hiding if you haven't seen many threads about him. Molina lost to Kirkland. Yes I had him ahead comfortably. But he got legit KD'd and his corner entered the ring. Everybody knows that's a DQ. It's like saying Vitali beat Lennox. Just not true. Molina over Lara and Lara over Williams I will give you, as those went the distance and I, like you, and like the majority, disagreed with the official decision. Wait, you count Kirkland as having a W over Molina while saying Molina has a W over Kirkland??? The fights you listed for everybody. Good. But I said list me 10. That's the point I'm making. At some point quantity makes up for quality, especially when the difference isn't THAT huge. What you say about him being a champion. WHO GIVES A ****. Only you. Titlist means absolutely nothing, zero. I'm shocked that ESB can admit that yet refuses to put it into practice. People like you who care about that kinda **** to any degree still give the ABC organizations power. He's not degrading the sport while being titlist and not fighting the best available. Because titles don't mean anything! It's been like this for many many years before Alvarez ever fought on HBO. Don't know why you bring up MMA, different sport, might as well bring up tennis. Yes, all of Alvarez's fights are flawed. So are all of Broner's fights. I could easily provide you with a breakdown for that. So are all of Guerrero's. So are all of Alvarado's. So are all of Mares'. So are all of Hopkins'. So are all of Roman Gonzalez's, especially. Everybody's wins can be broken down in a way to lessen them and consider them "flawed." Everybody's. "unlike the resume of adrian broner" ^ Dude, c'mon please now... You breakdown Alvarez's resume like that then try to say that Broners' relatively weak ass resume is not flawed. hahahaha!
well if you follow the sport you would know that trout sparred with sergio who spoke highly of his abilities and has had high praise from ward as well. canelo has sparred with both forbes and ggg and neither have said anything of note. in fact the reports are that, with full headgear and 18-ounce gloves, ggg hurt canelo to the point where his leg went stiff and saul could not sit down in his corner. perhaps thats where "some fans" come up with their assessment of the ablity of trout and the suspectibility of canelo. whats going to be the excuse if canelo does not fight trout? maybe he should just do the ineveitable and help restore the crediblity of the wbc such as what happened between riddick bowe and lennon lewis. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E89mPXwRwmI
Ivan Calderon beat the dog**** out of Oscar and Mosley in sparring, giving up 40+ pounds to each. What does that mean? You could read into it if you wanted to waste your time. But in the end, jack ****... --- The thing that frustrates me with Trout is that people couldn't even tell you that he beat Rigoberto and Lopez before Delvin Rod and Cotto, and that those are his 4th and 3rd best wins, respectively. Might I venture to say that if you removed their top win, Alvarez's resume literally shits all over Trouts'?
im not talking wins. im talking fights. you just dont understand. canelo has fought one uncompromised opponent in rhodes(although he had been previously kod twice). do you think anyone would care about canelo if he wasnt the champion? and what do you not understand about broners title defenses having an opponents record of a perfect 18-0 in their last three fights as opposed to canelos being 10-15? thats pretty basic math, right? well, we can sit here and do this all day but the best way to find out who really knows what theyre talking about is a guy like me offering to put my monicker where my mouth is. a lifetime esb ban bet with you. canelo does not lose before he beats three top five boxrec.com jmw's adrian broner does not lose before he beats three top five boxrec.com lw's. i have broner you have canelo. put up or shut up.
Wow you're a joke, dude. I was playing devil's advocate to let you know that your argument isn't so black/white or right/wrong like you think it is. I was one of the first people to sign up for the Donaire/Nishioka perma ban bet. Since then, a bunch of those have taken place and no one keeps their word. I never talked mad ****, and this whole time I've repeated myself in saying that I think Broner is better and will be better than Alvarez. So why would I take that "bet" with you? I've been clear from the start of our back n forth. Plus, gotta love your idea of a lifetime ban bet on the basis of boxrec.com divisional rankings, hahahahah!!! With criteria that will take years to even play out... You a funny guy! I don't need to "put up or shut up." You just need to take off your keyboard warrior crown, not be in a confrontational mood, learn to read, then go back and read my posts.
do you have a better idea than boxrec.com? of course not. just opening your mouth again without backing it up. a typical canelo nuthugger. and just like a typical nuthugger, not accepting the bet. and i dont have to take broner. why dont you just take canelo and ill take the other side(him losing)? or do you have some other excuse such as boxrec.com is not sufficient. so unless you take the bet, kindly go away like the rest of the canelo nuthuggers(except Undisputed who is the only one i respect here for putting his monicker where his mouth is, unlke you). http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?p=14322325#post14322325 i dont see Undisputed having a problem with boxrec.com or "years to play out." now, do you have any other excuses for us here? also, post a link for those showing someone who didnt honor their ban bet on donaire/nishioka as you claim. or are you just talking out of your ass again.
owned? says who, you? all i see is a guy like myself willing to walk the walk by offering a lifetime esb ban bet and another guy making excuses of why he wont. you would know what im talking about if you didnt have pink **** in your mouth.
Ok, what a crock of **** you're spouting. I love when posters get emotional and call you out for being pro/anti any fighter when you simply give your opinion. The reason why I feel Canelo would be behind, is that he's a strong counter puncher that banks on his targets being stationary while throwing a punch or combo. He's never shown the footwork or ring IQ, to deal with a mover with a significant height and length advantage. The closest thing to that would've been a Paul Williams fight. But his handlers knew that it was a safe bet, as PW was pretty feather fisted at JMW. It was a feeling out fight. Alverez was being outworked by Alfredo ****ing Gomez before Canelo got the Calzaghe stoppage. So IMO, it's not a stretch to think a tall, lengthy, true JMW will be ahead on the scorecards (barring robbery), when Canelo has never shown the ability to deal with someone like Trout. :hi:
so i guess this means we dont have a bet. that figures. esb canelobackers. always taking out of their ass because they have my shoe kicked in their mouth. i shouldve figured that you didnt want the bet. now all we need is nonito smoak to not post links of esb ban bets that werent honored as he so claims and i'll have another douchebag, loudmouth canelo nuthugger to add to my lists of asskickings.
