Oxnard,Ca has had some pretty good fighters but there biggest names all have shaky chins.

VIctor Ortiz.

 

I think ortiz has much better chin then people are saying. he just has no heart at all. he took some brutal shots against maidana and looked like he could go on if he wanted to.

 

I agree that Ortiz doesnt have a glass jaw, however its not the best either, he has already been dropped a couple of other times.

 

Margarito's chin is disgustingly bad, he might be better at tennis or any other sport where he doesn't have to get hit.

 

Ortiz has an average chin, but has a glass heart.

 

Juan Diaz does not have a glass jaw imo. ANybody who gets hit with that many flush shots by Marquez is bound to go down and bleed. Seems like Marquez' punching power gets underestimated by some but his power comes from punch placement and precision. His sense of timing is unreal and he catches his foes with swift combinations that they dont see coming. He's also one of the rare fighters who knows to punch with the opponent and get his shots in between..

Marquez is an accurate puncher with deceptive punching power. That makes him a deadly puncher.

Diaz took hard shots from Freitas, Kid Diaz, kat, and was never seriously hurt.
His chin is fine.

that's not giving vargas enough credit by a long way.

he was still green when he fought oscar and tito, 2 of the biggest punchers out there - and they were great fights.

it's a big deal he was still in his early 20's when he fought these guys.

 

Why the **** as the most obvious one not been mentioned?
