Jhonny Gonzalez was the first one that came to mind. Not many Mexicans with glass jaws. They usually can take a hell of a beating in the ring. Gonzalez would be pretty good if he could take a punch.

    Easy
    Johnny Gonzales (featherweight contender)
Alex Terra Garcia (former light middleweight champion) terrible chin.
    Julio Diaz (light welter contender)

Only if my boy Jhonny Gonzalez had the punch resistance/chin of MArgarito, he'd go down as a legend.

Javier Jauregu. He actually has a TKO over Castillo, got a title shot against Freitas and was KO'd in a single round.

Vargas comes to my mind quickly...
Marquez also in his Manny fight and being drop in the Floyd fight...

I think if anything Mexicans are known more for their heart and determination...

Well getting blown out by a banger like Freitas doesnt mean you have a glass jaw. Ive seen Jauregui fight live many times he is usually durable.

Yuup.. Jauregui is far from glass jawed..

Some people see a fighter getting knocked out and automatically puts the Glass jaw label on him without even regarding the fact that he may have been hit by the biggest puncher in the division.. Some punches will knock out anybody.. Same thing with Lewis too when rating his chin. Some folks call him a glass jaw based on the first rahman fight but that was the kind of punch that would have knocked out a buffalo..

Vargas had the chin beat out of him.... his chin was fine his whole life until after the tito fight. He had never been doubt, and never seriously hurt.... in all his amature days or any fight leading up to trinidad... if his chin was shaky at worst he would have had some sort of flash knockdown or wobbled here or there, ike landed plenty of flush shots right on his jaw that saw vargas take them fine.

After tito, vargas is wobbled in every other fight just about...

But prime vargas's chin is fine.

Also, people listing Ortiz are eather part of that joke ass 'glass jaw' ****, or dont know the meaning of glass jaw. He took massive punches from Maidana, if he had a glass jaw that fight would have seen the ref stop it with Ortiz being flat on his back, he endured many flush power shots from a power puncher (that he quit isnt the point) but his chin sure as hell isnt glass....

There is a difference between an average chin, and a glass chin.

Believe me im a big Vargas fan and i give him more credit than most. Im just saying that his chin wasnt the greatest, it wasnt weak but it wasnt the best either. Vargas had an average chin, but he was a blood and guts warrior with a never say die attitude, thats what aloud him to make it thru the first and make a strong comeback against Tito.

Early in his career he was dropped by Ubaldo Hernandez thats the only time i recall him being dropped. Hes taken shots from Katsidis,Cambell,Freitas,Lorcy all good punchers and they couldnt put him down.
