Comedy sketch shows in general are always a mixed bag, most clips are average, but its the good ones in between that a show stands or falls by.

Take Harry Enfiled for instance, check out his best sketches on Youtube & some of them are brilliant, the scousers, tory Boy Wayne & waynetta slob immediately spring to mind.
However if you watch a full episode on UK gold, most of the show is utterly forgetful, but his best bits are whats remembered & rightly so, its the way of the sketch show:deal

Limmys first series was really good IMO, but by midway through the second he had ran out gas...
    Limmys best character IMO

chewin the Fat? Had some great moments.

Burnistoun is doing fine IMO, near the end of the 3rd season & its still managing to do just enough memorable sketches to keep folk tuning in:smoke

I could actually imagine that poster Lirva being an english version of Jolly boy John standing in his bedroom with his undies on and a cardboard cut-out of Tony Bellew & telling the cut-out "No offence Tony, but you were RAGING when Farnell picked Clev to beat you"

Hahaha. I actually have a cardboard cut out of Calzaghe in my room, randomly. My mate worked in curry's at the time Satanta were advertising boxing and nicked it for me. In in my bed at night and just see this big black figure, sometimes still shite myself a bit.

Burnistoun is decent. This is my favourite couple of sketches

Don't know why no one has mentioned Kevin Bridges as of yet, arguably the best comedian in the UK at the moment and probably my favourite guy on the tele. Going to see him on wednesday!
