    Calculated risk.

    Good plan. Didn't work.

Work his way back to contention, when did he work his way last time ??? Each ? For each gift while he worked his way to a bogus setup his body couldn't handle. A good 6 months before he could possibly fight again. That's if he really tore up his knee.

Possible he had some problems with it prior and was hoping Martin was more of a journeyman level hw

He beat Adamek when he was still in the top 10 and Cunningham, most think Cunningham deserved the win though, when he was just outside it.

Compare that with current and recent beltholders like Wilder, Fury, Martin, and Stiverne and I'd say Glazkov fits right in when you look at what they did before winning their belts. Not to mention guys who have gotten title shots but lost- Molina,Arreola, Pianeta, Duhapas, etc.

Glazkov's resume prior to getting his title shot looks fine when compared to what a lot of others have done in the past couple years before getting a shot.

I do agree that it seems they probably overlooked Martin and were pretty confident they'd beat him. He also had a lot of breaks go his way in close fights the past few years and was due to have one go against him like it did Saturday.
