Nah that fight was close I thought glazkov won they both looked like ****. Only reason everybody is complaining is because Cunningham is really easy to rout for because of a lot of different circumstances. You want guys like him to win. Glazkov is terrible though I thought he had potential but he's trash.
:nono Glazkov has skill, and there's more to meets the eye with him which is why John David Jackson has stuck with him... Glazkov is still stuck in an amateur mindset, yet he still manages to win big fights even if he doesn't look stellar, and fights only in one gear. I think Glazkov still has potential, if he can adapt a more pro friendly style and fight in different gears. He's got good fundamentals, nice jab, solid chin, always shows up in shape. I don't know, I think there's a good fighter buried under there somewhere, just needs to right work and time to bring it out.
Sorry I just don't like his style and he's very dull, we agree on almost everything, we just have to agree to disagree on this one.
Hard not to acknowledge someone who's beaten both Adamek, and Cunningham. Those guys were both a bit faded, but game nonetheless... You say you can't stand Glazkovs style, that he's boring... I suggest you rewatch his fight with Adamek, the Hamer fight as well. Those were both very entertaining. Glazkov is WINNING, and that's what matters. I don't like how he wins by the skin of his teeth though, he consistently does just enough to win in fights.... That's why I think it's a mental problem that needs to be sorted out in the gym. There's a fine line between someone like Rossy, and Cunningham/Adamek, it doesn't seem to me that that he struggles because of lack of skill per-se, more of his "do just enough to win" attitude. Idk. I think if he can change that, and some other things that he has something to offer.
I partly agree. I could see a win for Glazkov against USS, while I was rooting for the latter. A better result would have been a draw, because it was a really close fight. But he clearly lost the Scotty fight, and should have lost the Rossy fight as well. But he's not the only one (by far) who has a history of controversial fights in his advantage. Just take a look at these guys. - J'Leon Love - Mickey Bey - Fernando Guerrero - Adrien Broner - Marco Huck - Danny Garcia - JP hernandez and the list is quite a bit longer too
I think he could beat Wilder at his best yes.... Wilder is very beatable. Glazkov is much quicker than Stiverne, and more accomplished. Even though not a hard hitter he might have what it takes to stop Wilder if he lands clean.
Glazkov should have at least 2 losses on his record and would have absolutely 0 chance against Wilder. Stivernes win over Arreola is way better than anything Glazkovs done
If Glazkov was some scumbag outside the ring and a menace to society, I could understand this hate campaign. He just happens to be a foreign fighter who does nothing special, trying to earn a living in a cut throat sport. Sorry he does not have a special interest story or an obnoxious personalty. Truth is many of you will get your wish and be able to gloat at his expense because he is clearly not an elite HW but for him and his family's sake I hope he can earn some nice paydays for his toil.
Nope. Glazkov should only have one less on his record.... You mean Arreola the guy who's lost to every top 20 heavy he's faced. The Arreola who was schooled by Adamek? Cunningham and Adamek> Arreola. Glazkov definitely has thicker resume than Stiverne.
