Giftkov needs to earn his next shot instead of using boxing politics and gift decisions to pave his way.

I'd rather see Glazkov work his way back into a title shot then being given one simply because he was injured in his last fight.

Glazkov has caught a few breaks already. He walked away from the Scott, Cunningham, and Rossy fights without a loss when most people had him losing 1-2 of those fights.

If the IBF did give him an immediate title shot due to his injury I could see their reasoning even though I wouldn't care for or agree with it.

Like others have said let him atleast have to beat Scott or the Pulev-Chisora winner. Better yet let him face Scott and the winner of that face Pulev-Chisora for the shot.

I'm sick of Glazkov. He got beat by Rossy, Cunningham, Scott and he was going to lose to Martin. He doesn't deserve sh*t and gets beat by any half decent HW.

Glazkov was barely getting hit in the fight wtf are you even talking about. Glazkov easily won the first two rounds. I think you need to learn how to differentiate between somebody getting hit flush and someone who rolls with the punches being thrown at them (like Glazkov was).

Glazkov wasn't picked apart, but Martin landed more, dominated and won the first two rounds.

If Martin wasn't beating Glazkov up, it'd be called a TD and this fight would be for a (still) vacant belt. The reason it was called a TKO was that Martin was dominating the fight and pushing Glazkov to the limits he can't handle forced the injury.

Glazkov was landing jabs and body shots while Martin literally landed like one or two punches for both rounds. Glazkov was clearly out boxing Martin.

He'd probably have near that amount too if all his fights were scored properly.

Wouldn't shock me if Glazkov was suddenly given a shot by the IBF, you have to wonder how he won the fights with Scott, Rossy and Cunningham, someone must like him a lot to keep winning these decisions.

Had he gone the distance with Martin I'm sure he would of won another controversial decision, he lost all 3 rounds in my opinion but he was even on the scorecards with one judge having him 2 rounds up and another judge had it even.

Glazkov is a dangerous opponent for anybody, not because he's any good but because, not since Ottke have we seen a fighter have officials so clearly on his side with 3 controversial decisions in as many years and by the looks of it a 4th was very likely.

He's definitely gotten too many calls going his way for my tastes, which is a big reason I was rooting for Martin to really take care of business in that fight (along with being a Martin fan).

That said, only 2 rounds got scored in that fight, and they were feeling-out rounds. So little happened in the scored rounds that it's not surprising to see the scores all over the map. I had it 1-1 (and Martin winning the third).
