I've only seen parts of the Hamer fight and he doesn't look anything special from that, but that's not to say that he can't perform at a much higher level...he just didn't stand out in that fight. Also, any reason given for why Hamer pulled out? If this was a big fight there would have been a major outcry, it seemed very bizarre. Hamer looked fine. Was there an injury? Interesting. I can never tell how true the injury excuses are...boxing can be quite a corrupt sport at times so I would never rule anything out. As for getting 'hammered' I should watch the whole fight, since I didn't get that impression from the parts I saw.
