Damn super six started off great now its fading man ... they should just cut it .... no replacements and dirrell vs ward ... abraham vs froch ... winners fight each other ... sad it had so much potential and now its getting out of control

**So he'd fill in for Kessler eh. and if Glen lost by decision, would he still complain about it?

Fine with me, as long as neither guy knocks the other guy out. I think this fight would go 12 and neither would be able to advance if it does.

I like Johnson and he is always willing to fight anyone and makes for good fights. And a Johnson-Green fight isn't too bad especially if it was fought at 175. I'm not crazy about Johnson getting down to 168 at this point in his career. But, if all goes well, they fight to a decision and both guys get eliminated. If the winner has two points then he might be tied with someone like Froch or Direll but I think the next tiebreaker(besides head to head) is rounds won and Green and Johnson would probably fall short there.

Bika would have been a good replacement or possibly Andrade. I actually would have liked to seen Felix Sturm replace Kessler but thats not going to happen. If we get a Green-Johnson fight and neither advances than there's no problem and we actually get an interesting fight that we wouldn't have. If one of them does advance then that puts a bit of a taint on the tournament.

I think in a way it makes sense. Even though it's a 168lb tournament I don't think every fight is required to be fought at 168. Allan Green apparently struggles to make weight and this could be an audition for him at LHW seeing as he virtually has no hope getting the semis anyways. Furthermore, they are both DiBella fighters so it would be easier to get both sides to agree on terms.

In the end, it wouldn't shock me if this was a 173 catchweight or something.

Green vs. Johnson does not sound fun...unless Green gets KTFO.

Even then, Johnson would not really belong in the mix with the four rightful semi-finalists.

This is maybe the single dumbest boxing-related thing I've heard this month. Think about that. I'm on this forum a helluva lot. That's saying something. I just saw a Pacquiao VS Pavlik thread this week. And this is dumber than that and it's coming from an actual official boxing source, not some dumbass poster...Jesus.

Is it dumber than the guy who tipped Joe Mesi to knock out Ezzard Charles?

Chin up. I only made that up to be like "Ha ha. Made you look!" - but your spirits are too broken to even look so there's no fun in letting you go on thinking something that galling.

And another thing. When I got here I resisted using these ****ing emoticons at all and now I feel like I have lost the ability to adequately express myself without them and I go to use them when I'm not even here and then...aw, **** this place has ruined me. ...:verysad

I think Johnson is looking a few big pay days before hanging them up. He is one tough SOB. I can't see Green beating him.

Really, I wouldn't mind seeing that fight, but not as part of the Super Six. The truth is, neither of them have any business there and can't be competitive against the younger, quicker guys anyway.

Ward and Dirrell will both easily UD Johnson or Green.

Johnson vs. Froch would be a slugfest.

Johson vs. Abraham would be brutal, and there is a chance Johnson could pull that one out.
