I don't mind seeing old man Johnson taking Green's heart. Its not like he will qualify to the semis so its all good. I do worry about his weight, he looked weak and weathered in his last fight but still nearly beat one of the best at 175.
I really like The Road Warrior. I was hoping he could whip Father Time's ass, and then beat the crap out of Cloud. That did not happen, and I honestly think that if he struggled with Cloud, he is no longer good enough to be in this tourney. Furthermore, if a weight drained Glen Johnson lost to Green, that would break my freaking heart!
Yeah. Probably Dibela want's some1 who Green can beat. My first pick would've been Stieglitz but that would've been a pretty even match with the WBO champ edging it out in a SD ... but that's just my opinion ; Hey the fight being somewhere in USA with some nice referees Dibela could've change the decision to a SD for Green :!: in order to keep the S6 tradition - Home Town Fighter=WINNER - . I think Dibela lost confidence in Green and want's a drained Glen Johnson agains his fighter but he can't make the weight imho and he won't accept , he had an offer from Bute to fight at 168 and he refused. So what does that leaves us ? Dibela's very probable second choice has to be Stieglitz , but Robert has refused a very nice payday from Bute to fight him in Romania, Twice, so how much money do the s6 has offers ? Not only that but Stieglitz is not such a big name, he won't put asses in seats (unless the fight is in germany) - Green has only 1 fan . So financial the fight would make more sense in Germany(having only one fight to prove himself he deserve home town advantage). If the plan B won't work what's left? Don't think who you want ...think who Dibela want's: Pirog ?!? to small to young i'm guessing his manager has a half of brain to say no... if he get's invited , Andrade? NO WHAY , Pavlik? NO WHAY , Bika ...maby. But will Bika accept. Dan Rafael wrote that Bika declined that fight because his father died. So ....if u ask me It's Stieglitz or no1 unless they find a bum and showtime goes along with the deal.
They could just give Green a rematch with Tarvis Simms. He couldn't KO a part-time 40y.o. middleweight, I don't think he'll KO anyone. The only way I'll worry about Green getting into the next round is if they dig up Jaidon Codrington. Seriously though, just don't put someone in against Green who's willing to trade. Unfortunately a weight drained Johnson is probably his best chance.
