    At least he isn't losing to the non-prospects he faces, and lets be honest here... There were moments where Johnson was more or a less a high level journeyman even in his prime, but yeah, now he's clearly past his best and it's VERY unlikely that he'll rebound and do anything meaningful again.

    My point was that he's been at this level before, but under different circumstances.

    difference being he wasnt fighting 25 pounds above his natural weight division. and he wasnt an old man at this level

    He's fighting at LHW again, I believe he only fought twice at CW.

    well he needs to avoid anymore fights at cruiser...unless he wants to end up with brain damage

    I agree. It's no coincidence that he was stopped for the first time in over 15 years fighting there, there's still some money for him to be made fighting at SMW/LHW with less of a chance of him taking any serious damage.

    Nobody should feel sorry for him. He's doing what he loves to do, and if he's only still fighting because he blew through his money then that's his fault.

    He was one of Kovalev's main sparring partners for the B-Hop fight. B-Hop sparred a lot with Vyacheslav Shabranskyy for that fight, who is a much closer facsimile to Kovalev's style than Johnson is to B-Hop's.
