Gwtf!! GLEN JOHNSON scheduled to fight in November vs. this dude- (I FORGET HIS NAME ALREADY!!)

he's got, like 15 losses! and 21 wins (?).. wtf? why is Glen doing this?
I thought he was gonna bide time (waiting for Dawson/Tarver/Hopkins) by fighting some young lions like Shaun George or Tarvoris Cloud,,

this seems like a needless and meaningless fight, especially when you only fight TWICE a year (!!) and you're already, like 40 years old!

    unbelievalbe

why not Johnson vs. Shaun George or Cloud, or even a good super middleweigt?..

It's just a tune up fight. He will get a title shot against the winner of the Diaconu-Branco.

He can fight whoever he wants who's willing to fight him. Better he be fighting than not fighting. Obviously this particular match won't do wonders for his status in the division by any stretch of the mind, but there's no need to get worked up over it. I expect he knows what he's doing, anyway.

Staying active is never meaningless. Fighters used to do it all the time.

    Dude..

this bum got knocked out by a totally SHOT Omar Sheika (!!) in his last fight.. also he's got a whole string of BAD Losses.. 15 of them!!

this is not really the way for GLEN to build up to a rematch with Dawson or Hokpins..

If anybody deserves an easy tune-up then its Johnson. Hes fought every top fighter at 175. Dudes earned the right for an easy fight.

It should be considered that nobody is exactly enamored to fight the man.

It's Tiwon Taylor,a good, decent journeyman,he was KOed by some good guys:Fabrice Tiozzo,Elvir Muriqi,Adrian Diaconu,Lou Del Valle,Omar Sheika and also stopped by Daniel Judah if you consider him good. His last fight was aon the undercard of Taylor vs Pavlik.Good tune-up

exactly. it's glorified sparring that he will win, get used to the lights and crowd...as these things cause you to tire which are impossible to replicate in a gym, it's a reason why they have open sparring sessions is to get used to alot of people judging you.

anyways forget it it's nothing to get worked up about.

My only worry is he's not going to get much of a workout from this guy, unless he doesn't train. If he doesn't train, the fight is pointless as a stay-busy fight. I cannot imagine he's making much money from this fight anyway. I would have picked a better fighter to prepare for the winner of Diaconu v. Branco.
