Johnson vs Bute is gonna get made for nov.5. But maybe Paul could fight some arabian french guy to have a chance for a win.

Thing is, with the "kind of money" they have been talking about for this fight, you know dam well he may be ready.

Might be Glen's biggest check yet? Wonder how much they will offer, considering what's all out in the open now?

theres an old saying, if your best reason for making a fight is based on alot of losses....its not much of an argument...

Your right, but in all fairness, it was genuine for Froch to fight Johnson, it should not be less for Bute. In fact, Bute already tried to make happen with Kessler and Pavlik, so I dont think that Johnson is bad in this context. Johnson is only a couple of monts older than when he faced Froch.

Thanks, great add to the thread.....:patsch.....****in ******.

    Now back to topic

Johnson gives problems to anyone, so Johnson will give Bute trouble for sure, but Bute should win. Johnson is hard to beat but for some reasons, he almost always lose big fights.

I'd pay to see it. Glen would be the obvious under dog but if he could land a right hand on Froch maybe it goes differently against Bute. You never know. Kessler won't fight him. Pavlik now won't fight him. Don't think there are too many other names out there that would step in the ring with the guy and he needs to have a validation fight against a name guy so a fight with Johnson would be a good move I think.

i have no problem with the fight, would rather see bute move up and fight a guy for a 175 pound strap...rather than 175 pound guy fighting at 168

Do you forgot that in his two last fight Johnson fought at 168, in fact he fought in the S6 a 168 tournament. If Johnson is a good contender for Green and Froch, why its not working for Bute?

BatTheMan.....Everytime you have a chance to bash on Bute, you go for it. I dream of the day Bute fight Kessler...if Kessler stop making excuses....and hear whatever excuses you ll have when kessler loses the fight. Change disc sometimes and stop pressing on repeat please.
