I got called a troll for giving Groves stick for dragging an old Glencoffe out of retirement to give him one last beating... I really enjoyed raining on their parade that day whilst they were all having a pop at Kenny Anderson for beating an old Robin Reid. Lots of wailing & gnashing of teeth ensued from the Georgie Porgie lovers:smoke

 

Johnson is coming over for a pay cheque, he's gonna be mad when Frank doesn't pay him though.

 

But, but this is a good fight.............

 

There's nothing wrong with this fight, I don't think. Two of Johnson's last three fights were against Bute and Froch, and in his last fight, he didn't look shot, just old. It's hardly like it's undeniable that he's completely finished. He's old and won't win a world title again but he's a perfectly fine gatekeeper for guys like Groves or Edwin Rodriguez. Guys I'd expect him to lose to but ask them enough questions.

I guess we'll see on fight night. If Groves easily shuts Johnson out or stops him, I'll admit I'm wrong. However, I think he'll surprise a few people.

There is a WORLD of difference between Johnson and Reid. Johnson was fighting for a world title only a few fights ago. When was the last time Reid did anything meaningful?

As for Kenny Anderson, I admitted at the time if Kenny couldnt beat an old Robin Reid, he should hang up the gloves immediately. OK, so I had a cheeky chuckle about Kenny making Robin do a stiff legged dance, where Robins upper body was going one way, while Robins stiff legs were going another
kennys win was a good one for the simple fact he got a hold of the british belt, & now people NEED to fight him as opposed to Kenny struggling to get someone brave enough to fight him. I would never pretend though that beating an old Robin Reid was something to write home to your dad about, whereas the Groves grovellers in here were and STILL are trying to make a case that dragging an old Glencoffe into the ring so Groves can get a stoppage win is some sort announcement that George is on the road to stardom!

COME ON! I stated here that Froch would demolish Mack, the dead giveaway was Froch talking Mack up beforehand. Groves is smug like Froch, & hes doing the same thing talking up Glencoffe. So Groves will win inside the distance.

I said it before & I will say it again, when smugster fighters like Froch & Groves talk up the opponent instead of their usual selves? You know the opponent is going to get a tanking:deal
