I agree! I don't understand why none challenge Erdei he is Linear champion!

Any way how old is that Branco 40 by now! can he pull an upset? How good ist that Diaconu?

I think nobody challenges Erdei because it will be so hard for a decent fighter to become mandatory for the WBO title - they are either dis-interested or the WBO will accept a pay-off from the guy's promoter in return for inserting a chump instead

That way they can choose a bum for the voluntary and the weak mando

 

Erdei is no linear champion,never was,the champ was RJJ who lost to Tarver who lost to Bernard who lost to Calzaghe.The title is given in the ring

DM was linear by beating Virgil Hill! Then DM lost title to Gonzales and erdei won it from him! So erdei is linear champ!

 

Actually Erdei shoul have his hands full cuz his mandatory is Roy Jones and his no 2 contender is Bernard but they just dont wanna fight a the guy,he is too small,Bernard at 50 should beat him.

 

I'm sure Roy would rather fulfill his status as mando for the WBO title to be ripped off by corrupt refereeing and judging in Germany than make mega-bucks against Joe Calzaghe

The debate on DM being linear champion as opposed to RJJ will probably go on until someone decent beats Erdei!

 

Well see thats where the controversy is because Roy never fought Michalewski,if they fought who do u think would of won?but still some say Roy ducked him.

 

Ok but then all these guys Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, Glen Johnson,Antonio Tarver were top contenders and he never fought neither,the champ has to fight the best right?

 

I am afraid Erdei who is past his prime will lose to a bum/fringe contender soon ex:Joey Spina, Elvir Muriqi and we will call them champ,thats not right.
