You see it depends on the fighter weather he wants to make money or remain undefeated,make a legacy or many things.Roy never wanted to fight Mihalewski in Germany nor did Mihalewski to fight Roy in USA.Hamed made all the money he could make in UK,came to USA to make more,win fights but he lost there.Hatton is a great draw everywhere,makkes money everywhere.Depends very much on what the fighters want to leave for a legacy and what they want to leave for their families.

Why the WBC puts Glen at number 1 and then names Branco the mandatory for Diaconu?

It sounds like Glenn turned down the fight.

 

I wipe my ass with the WBO belt, Erdei what a joke! why does Glenn Johnson continually get ****ed over. This is what I hate about boxing today, Paper ****s and their meaningless belts and bull**** defenses.

Maske and Hill were #1 and #2 when they fought. Hill won and became lineal champion. Even if you think that somehow didn't make a lineal champion, then for good measure, BEFORE ROY was even in LHW, Hill fought Michalczewski, who was #2 at the time, then beat Hill to become lineal. At that point, Tiger held the WBA, IBF and WBO belts. Then, for even more measure, Tiger later beat Rocky, who held the WBC belt (albeit in a nontitle fight because the belt was under contest at the time).

Tiger lost to Gonzalez, who lost to Erdei, who still has lineal.

The ONLY WAY you can say Erdei is not lineal is if you think you can lose the lineal title outside of the ring.

Man, the WBC really loves Adrian Diaconu! First Diaconu backs out of the Dawson fight 2 weeks before fight night. Dawson chooses not to wait on Diaconu and go onto tougher challenges like Glen Johnson and Tarver, while the WBC sanctions Diaconu to fight Chris Henry. Henry gives Diaconu a beating only to get robbed in Diaconu's backyard. The WBC won't even order a rematch on fair territory. They strip Dawson and give Diaconu the WBC title without even having to fight for it! No eliminator for the vacant title.. nothin.. just handed it over! And now they give Diaconu an easy first title defense when he never earned the title to begin with! The #1 challenger, Glen Johnson, has to wait after Silvio ****in Branco to get a shot because he beat Johnson 8 years ago?!?! Is that seriously the justification the WBC is trying to use?!?!?

They penalize Dawson for taking the bigger and tougher fights but couldn't even let Diaconu earn his WBC title with a real fight against Johnson. **** Silvio Branco. And **** the WBC.

Johnson will spank that ass once the corrupt WBC allows him to fight Diaconu the overhyped bum.

Jesus Christ your a hater,first he injured his hand in training and thats why he couldnt fight Dawson,then the WBC said that Diaconu and Henry fight for the interim title just in case Dawson ducks him later which he did,Dawson beat Johnson,Diaconu beat Henry both fair,the scoring difference in the Dawson vs Johnson was pretty off but OK.Dawsom ducks Diaconu,Diaconu being interim champion becomes full champion and the italian promoters made Branco a mandatory I think so he has to fight him.THE TRUTH!!!!

 

Maybe Roy will get his revenge on him, after Calzaghe.
