Glen Johnson speaks out!

One clean 5-6 shot combination? Why not ask for Earnie Shavers to come in a deliver one windup punch while Johnson holds Dawson's hands behind his back.

 

He simply wasnt robbed. He should try and win more rounds when he fights.

As for the audience booing, meh, American audiences tend to be pretty naive, they booed Dawson the second he showed any skill.

people say he is the most robbed fighter in boxing, but nearly every fight that went against him was close and some were against very average fighters.

Saying that I do beleive johnson put on enough of a show to warrant a rematch, but he will have to wait until the proposed fight between Chad and Tarver (which I think Tarver will win).

No way did Johnson ''clearly'' win that fight!

 

Dude, getting hurt in a round only loses you THAT round.. not all the others.

Fights are scored by round.

I am a fan of Johnson as well.

It ws a great fight but Johnson only won 4-6 rounds.

True, but people always remember the bigger punches more and the constant pressure, not the round by round scoring.

After 9 rounds, Glen needed a knockdown to win and he didn't get it.

All 3 judges as well as press row scoring and many media outlets scored the fight for Dawson. Yet somehow Glen Johnson was robbed in his home state(that's right, Johnson has been based out of Miami for some time now). Get over it people, Dawson won this fight. Mad props to Johnson for giving a game effort, but he came up just short. This is only going to make Dawson better, and make it that much sweeter when he beats up on Tarver.

I don't need to find reasons to give rounds to fighters that I like, if anything I find reasons to give it to the other guy for the worst case scenario.

 

Screw Dawson. Johnson had him almost outta there. Adamek woulda KO'ed his ass if he were not sick for that fight. I told you this guy couldn't take punishment & Johnson proved it.

 

Tarver is the perfect fighter for Dawson.

Whereas Glen comes in non stop and doesn't let you rest, Dawson will pick his spots against Tarver and will win easier.
