Glen Johnson wouldnt let it go to the cards. However, given anything goes in Notthingham, I wouldnt be surprised to see Ricky Hatton leap out of the crowd with a chair, smash Johnson in the head, and the ref raises Froch hands in victory. :yep

Of Ward, Abraham, and Froch, I think Johnson has his best chance against Froch. That said, it's a very slim chance and I see the younger, stronger fighter stopping Johnson.

How can Froch lose to a guy who got outboxed by Clinton Woods? Johnson is my hero but lets be real man Froch is in his prime and Johnson is shot. Johnson BHOP rematch is the only fair fight for him right now.

I pick Froch with Glen making it debateable for him winning, and some fans calling it a robbery

The guy has a solid beard that isn't even in question.

He has been down once from a shot he didn't see and seemed like his head cleared fast.

:thumbsupI was thinking about this matchup today, too. Glen's still got a damn good chin, but it would be put to the test in that one...he's got the volume to win rounds, but his style is one that Abraham's countering, fairly stationary style would fare well against.

Froch-Johnson would be an entertaining, awkward slugfest. I'd edge Froch in that one.

The more I think about it, the smarter it looks that Showtime put Glen into the S6. I was worried he'd be weight drained, but that doesn't look to be a factor and he always does his part to make a good fight.

Johnson isn't shot, but he's seriously diminished.

Froch is wide open to one of Glen's best weapons; the over hand right. Froch does not like body shots, nor take them well. Johnson uses body punches to set up the over hand right.

    Food for thought.

Ha, that comment reminded me of the question leading up to a recent fight:

How can Floyd lose to a guy who got outboxed by Cotto?

Enough of that and back to the topic at hand. Many people feel Glen won 2 of those 3 fights. Secondly, would Froch of today beat Clinton Woods at 175(not Woods of today, but Woods back when he was fighting Johnson)?

    he cant allow that.

but then again the ref might give some extra slow counts.

I'm pretty surprised people actually think Froch and Abraham would knock Johnson out. Cloud is a legitmate puncher at a higher weight class and even though he did rock Johnson numerous times, he could not put him down, nevermind out.

I think the concern is mainly how will Johnson's chin/stamina hold up at this weight(the concensus being the Johnson is draining to get here)? Froch isn't as heavy of a puncher but he could test Johnson's stamina at 168(and at age 41) and of course, Abraham can test the chin at 168.

Having said that I would be shocked if Froch got Johnson out of there.
