Glen Johnson vs Joe Calzaghe (Primes) Who wins?

If the '04 Johnson fought the lhw Calzaghe, I'd back the Road Warrior to pound out a decision.

If any smw version of Johnson fought the smw Calzaghe, I'd back Calzaghe to edge a decision.

 

Johnson would do just enough to lose. Joe by close but deserved decision.

 

Remembering that Calzaghe beat Hopkins who easily beat Tarver, who beat Johnson. I know styles make fights but Id say that gives a form line.
Johnson of 04 is based on a disputed decision over Tarver. Its not that impressive

 

He also knocked out a better version of Roy Jones than the version that dropped Calzaghe and took him the full 12 rounds :smoke

 

The Roadhead Warrior would find a way to lose.

 

Calzaghe dominates him, but I would have liked to have seen the fight nonetheless. It would have been the 4th or 5th best win of Joe's career.

 

Johnson isn't exactly tough competition, especially for someone of Calzaghe's caliber.

 

Wrong again atsch. When Johnson beat Jones, Jones was still struggling with weight issues and coming off of a 2nd round KO defeat. When Joe beat him, Jones had readjusted to LHW and was coming off 3 wins :smoke
