Stupind thread, you can't make a thread where somebody could possibly criticise Pavlik.

Only joking. If Pavlik couldn't stop JT at 166 I don't see him stopping Johnson. I thought Dawson just won it against Johnson and I'd pick Pavlik to beat him too with his youth and workrate. Probably win a clearer decision than Dawson.

 

Probably Johnson, but he can no longer safely make 168 either.

Johnson's strength and chin give him the edge here

 

I'd pay PPV bucks to see this fight, seriously. This is coming from a Sopcast junkie.

Pavlik by (guess what?) controversial split decision after more than a few rocky moments.

 

Pavlik by close UD. He's in his prime and has awesome punching power. I think he probably hits harder than Chad Dawson and is better at fighting on th inside than Dawson is.

 

Pavlik has never been in the same ring as someone with as solid of a chin as Johnson. And he's not fast enough to keep on his toes and box Johnson. At the same time he's excellently conditioned and Johnson is getting old. It's a tossup but I'd favor Johnson
