prime Saad rather easily. In all likelyhood, he stops Johnson late despite how tough Glen is.

Johnson developed into a much better fighter after he left 160 IMO.

Despite his patchy record, many of those were controversial or at the very least close. When he trained properly for a fight and he was given a fair go by the judge he was a formidable foe.

He was very one dimensional in his early days, very crude. He probably is still fairly one dimensional, but through experience he has developed a cageyness and defence that isnt easy to deal with. As stated, when trained up properly he is very very fit, improving his durability and stamina greatly. I also reckon he is a rare example of fighter whose power has actually seem to increase when he moved up. I dont know if he improved the technique of his punches or what but he looks stonger and more powerful at lightheavy.

    That being said however....

MSM is just an all around better fighter and certainly a way better light heavy. Would be a very entertaining fight but if Johnson goes life and death with Clinton Woods, he wont be beating someone like Mr Franklin, probably doesnt even get that close either.

Saad would have too much firepower for Johnson. I'd say Saad tko 9.

    Muhammas UD 12 or 15.

Johnson will have his moments but overall Muhammad is the much better fight. I don't see either guy getting stopped.

I think a Decision is a very unlikely scenario. Yacqui Lopez was extremely tough and a much better LHW than Johnson, and was stopped twice despite giving Saad all he could handle. I'd pick both Lopez and Saad to stop Johnson within 10 rounds. I can't see any but the best punchers in the division's history hanging with Saad down the stretch, especially in a bout that would obviously be fought at a high pace.

Lopez was tough but he could be hurt. Johnson on the other hand I have never seen anytthing close to being hurt. Also he doesn't get hit as much as many think he does a pretty good job of covering up while coming in.

I just can't see Johnson getting stopped when I've never ever seen him hurt before.

ANd I don't see Lopez stopping Johnson either.

Lopez could be hurt because he faced greater opposition than the likes of Tarver and Dawson, and much more powerful punchers. I can't think of many LHW's period who could hang with Saad in that kind of war, especially one who clearly lacks the skills in comparison. Taking single shots from Saad is bad enough, but seeing as how I don't see how Johnson fares very well in any exchange, I just see it being a beatdown past a certain point.

Johnson was constantly beat up and eventually stopped by Hopkins as well, who is nowhere near the puncher the bigger, stronger Muhammad was. Then again, to be fair, neither was Johnson as good a fighter at that stage as he has been in recent years. Still, I think it's giving him too much benefit to assume he takes a beating, especially over 15, from a murderous puncher like Saad and survives. Even if he doesn't get knocked flat out, I'd assume the ref would jump in at some point.

Sheika hurt Johnson to the body.

Woods staggered Glenn in one of their fights.

Glenn could be hurt, it was rare but it happened. Just when in top shape he could recouperate very quickly.

Glendale Johnson is better....... Saad Muhammad was just a limited bomber with heart and soul... Okay, Saad had a decent "Left / Right" combo, but his skills were normal........ Johnson does things better than Saad Muhammad........ Johnson is a "Complete" rugged warrior........... JOHNSON!:p

    MR.BILL

    P.S.

Age was NOT kind to Saad..... Johnson is like fine wine.....

    It's Glengoffe,

Saad did practically everything better than Johnson and is a naturally bigger man. In no way is Johnson a better fighter, Saad was a level above.
