WBA Supermiddleweight champion Mikkel Kessler takes his first trip to light-heavyweight and fight the man that KO Roy Jones and left him unconscious with just 1 punch{i have 2 admit RJ waz terribly shot already},Glen Johnson is a very underrated fighter whos really a very good fighter and a threat to anybody who steps into the ring with him,Most people feel mikkel kessler is the next Joe Calzaghe, and his fans doubts anyone from 168 to 175 could defeat him? PREDICTIONS PLEASE..................P.S. THIS IS JUST A FANTASY MATCHUP PEOPLE!!

Wow if this is confirmed, this is one of the best matchups this year. It will be interesting to see how Kessler handles the Light Heavyweight division. I give a slight edge to Kessler with his age, and hes been impressive in his most recent fights. It also depends on which version of Glen Johnson shows up. I'd bet on the Johnson that showed up against Jones or Dawson but if the one who fought Tarver in the rematch shows up, its Kesslers fight. Either way, I see this fight going the distance

Whew,I thought Kessler was coming from the dead with a vengeance:patsch
About the fight I think Kessler UD.
He is a lot more fluid, awesome jab, straight powrful punches and has proven to take relentless pressure before(Andrade).Plus I think he'd carry the weight well enough.

if 2 years ago Johnson stops him battering this over rated guys body

fighting at 168 vs an unskilled pressure fighter (andrade is one thing) fighting a top class 175 intelligent pressure fighter is another....if Calzaghe could hurt tgis guy Johnson would murder him.

wont happen though.....Kessler vs another bum is likely

lol Kessler eat Johnson by being way better outside than Johnson, and keeping Johnson from getting inside with his great jab.

If it's in Denmark Johnson will have to win convincingly to get the decision.

I honestly feel that Johnson is to tough for Kessler, and as far as opposition goes, he would be the best fighter to date that Kessler would have fought outside of Calzaghe. I don't think he has what it take to keep Johnson off, i remember Anrade getting on the inside of Kessler and getting some good work done. Johnson is much stronger than Anrade, a better inside fighter and much better at cutting off the ring. Considering Johnson has enough left after his war with Dawson and the judges are neutral, i think he would bring the fight to Kessler.

Tough fight to pick, but if I had my money I would go with Johnson in a split decision.
