combine that with the fact pavlik has the frame to eventually fill into a lightheavy, i say pavlik ko's him. pavlik LOVES fighters who come at him.

remember the only reason why taylor survived the second fight was because he kept moving backwards and circling out.
pavlik is a freak. everyone he has faced has either been on the canvas or knocked out. only 3 opponents have lasted the distance against him, and they were not 12 round fights. not to mention pavlik wasn't as developed back then.

no, johnson's style is suicide verses pavlik. i trully believe pavlik will be dangerous at super and lightheavy provided he goes the same path as david haye, meaning he puts on geniune muscle, the slow correct way and not just eating himself to lightheavy if that ever was to happen

Actually, Johnson might have the perfect style to neutralize Pavlik's power because he's in your face from start to finish and Pavlik needs distance to create that KO power and he's not a good inside fighter at all. Pavlik's game is really simple. Jab followed by the right over and over again with an occassional left upper cut. He almost never goes to the body. Imagine a bigger, possibly stronger guy like Johnson crowding him from start to finish?

Johnson is a bad match for Pavlik. Johnson has tasted this power before, it's absolutely nothing new to him. He'll keep on coming, he'll get inside, and Pavlik will be in a world of trouble because he's never been in that type of fight. He's never fought this style.

 

For a full 12 rounds? Come on, C, Glens an old man. And even though he was relentless vs Dawson, Chad doesn't bomb like KP can. Kelly wears the old warrior down & out. It would almost be as bad as watching Marciano brutalize an old Joe Louis.

Pavlik almost never goes to the body. That's not part of his arsenal. He doesn't fight inside so how do you figure?

 

That's what you think. We have no idea how Kelly's power would carry to 175. Johnson has shown he can take shots from guys like Tarver who hit harder than Kelly does at 160. Johnson is relentless and would be hell for Kelly for 12 rounds not the other way around. kelly might pull it out but it wouldn't be as easy as you might think.

 

Then Johnson dies afterward.
