A prime Johnson was a very good fighter, but the Johnson who is fighting Froch is not only ancient, but will also have to drain himself to make the weight.

 

If a muppet like you thinks GJ is going to win then I am now 100% that Froch should win on points.

I'm a huge Glen Johnson fan but I expect Froch to take him easily on points

 

I looked up his record on boxrec, he's got a surprisingly high losing streak to a lot of fighters...

 

I would love to see Johnson win over Froch but it is highly unlikely.Too many fights,too slow and too old.The win over Green means he gets another nice deserved payday-but that is all.How Green managed to get in this in the first place is questionable.Sho was obviously very desperate at the time.

 

froch will box him from distance. not sure johnson at his age can take frochs power for 12 rounds. johnson is easy to hit!

I love Johnson but always remember a very average clinton woods giving him all he could cope with. Now i know styles make fights and i hate comparing in this way but i will here cos ill say it again - clinton woods is so average. Froch is better in all departments, maybe equal chin cos clinton has a good chin. Forch wins this for me and may just stop johnson.

I think i read somewhere in the thread that froch has no punching power..

Not saying he is the heaviest of bangers cos it's plain he isn't, however it is just as plain that he carries enough power to trouble all of them and more importantly is a good finisher.. Abraham could of been took out for sure but due to the gameplan froch didn't really try. He hurt Kessler on more than one occasion..

As an Englishman I love the pre-fight spouting that Froch is going to get found out/has a glass jaw/can't box/is the devil incarnate/eats dogs and then as soon as he beats the next guy it's exactly the same thing with any other fighter.

At some point he may or may not get some credit from the States but I doubt he gives a gnat's whisker.

Froch will outbox him use the jab and may have to withstand a late onslaught like last time out if Johnson has anything left in the tank.

 

I'm a big GJ fan,but he was outworked and outboxed at times in the Woods fights,and Woods ain't Froch.
I see Froch having an easy nights work,and wouldn't be surprised if he won every round or even had the ref intervene in the championship rounds.Johnson is simply too old,past his prime,and fighting at the wrong weight against a very strong SMW.
Most of the haters took a break while they thought up some excuse's for there predictions after the AA fight.This is quite clearly another hate thread.

 

Johnson got a much better chance than Abraham had. Johnson is aggressive and will put Froch under pressure. Kessler won by pressuring Froch all the time leaving Froch without a chance of gaining control.
That´s Johnsons reciept and I think that Johnson´s got a pretty good cgance of pulling out a surprice victory.
