Exactly. Not sure how Joe would deal with his style. Glen is one of my top favorites and I hope he gets a good payday and a shot at the title before he calls it a day.

  5. Glen Johnson is a great fighter. He tends to keep big fights too close to call and in the end the decisions go against. He would probably give Joe some problems and lose a close decision or I can see Joe just outclassing him totally. Either way that fight would have made sense 4 years ago

I see joe beating both fighters, Chad and Glen. But, I think for entertainment value, the Glencoffe Johnson fight would be much more pleasing to the fans. The fight with Johnson woud also look much better on his resume. I think it is agreed by all boxing fans that Glen is a badass!! I think he still holds more clout in the boxing world. I wasn't that impressed with Chad in his last two fights.

Chads last three fights consists of a dehydrated Tomas Adamek, a controversial victory over Glen Johnson, and a boring one-sided victory over Antonio Tarver, the same Antonio who had trouble with Elvis Muriqi.

So, I really don't see why Chad Dawson's stock is so high with the American fight press.

The better fight is clearly a fight with the "road warrior".

Yes, he did look very dominant for 9 rounds against a dehydrated Tomas Adamek...he was floored by one punch in the tenth and proceeded to get on his bicycle for the remainder of the fight. It was obvious that Adamek was on his way up to Cruiserweight, but still a very well deserved victory for Chad Dawson.

As far as the Tarver fight is concerned, a dominant performance over a man that won a majority decision against a "world beater" like Elvis Muriqi shouldn't be anything to brag about...and yes, the Tarver fight was a 12 round snoozer.

My point is that there are still a lot of questions that need to be answered regarding Chad Dawson before a fight with Calzaghe is justified, just like Kelly Pavlik before B-hop answered them.

There is no question that Glen Johnson has deserved and still deserves a fight with Joe Calzaghe.

If you think that a controversial loss to Chad raises questions concerning the Road Warrior, then maybe a rematch between Chad and Glen is a little more appropriate at this point.
