http://amp.abc.net.au/article/9812818 Jeff Horn has quite possibly the best trainer in the world right now. lil bud's natural talent has taken him as far as he can go. Just like Adrien Broner said about Mike Stafford (his trainer that he's had since he was 9 years old) 'He took me as far as he could, it's time for something new'. Crawford will repeat those same words about his own trainr Brian "big mac" McIntyre after he gets slumped next week. I keep telling you people that this out of shape 7-14 pro record holding trainer from lil buds neighborhood isn't an elite trainer. He can sit on twitter all he wants and talk sheeit but he does not have what it takes to teach lil bud how to beat someone with Horns fighting style. Glen Rushton is on another level psychologically, intelligently and physically. He knows how to motivate, he knows how to teach, he knows how to study and relay information. You can have all the talent in the world but if you are being trained by a guy eating big macs and simply saying 'lil bud you're gonna beat his ass. Easy work' you are going to fall apart in big fights in higher weight classes. We saw it with Broner. You will see it again here. Crawford may not act like a clown, but his relationship with his trainer is exactly the same. This is the end of the line for lil bud and big mac. You will see it with your own eyes.
We will see brother...im not a massive fan of either so if Horn does win, mad respect to you for calling it. I can tell by your thread that you know your boxing so im looking foward to this one. How do you think Horn wins? I always like having a bet on the underdog so what you think?
Rushton is good at getting a fighter fit and psychologically right but when it comes to training the technical aspects of boxing he is sadly lacking. It shows in Horn's swashbuckling style. Possibly the best trainer in the world? More like the worst trainer of a world champion currently.
