It's a quote from Fernando Vargas, which has long been one of kirk's favourite fighters. It also applied to Tapia yesterday. Now, if a fighter carries that attitude into the ring, and isn't willing to call in a night in the face of severe adversity, the responsibility falls upon the corner and officials to do so before said fighter absorbs too much punishment. Shared responsibility. It's actually not that hard of a concept to understand. Then again, you're incapable of realizing when your being trolled by Hans over you're obsession with grammar...So I guess that just stands to reason. (Speaking of which...It's the internet...and if you're free to hold egregious opinions that hold no basis, then others are free to make grammatical errors once in a while. :deal)
He's a warrior, warriors don't quit. But you wouldn't know anything about that, I'm sure you quit the same second things get hard for you. Get well Glen Tapia. Oh lord...
This is absolutely spot on. Glen can't be faulted for biting down and showing his heart and warrior spirit, his team should've had the clarity to pull him out a round or two before the ultimate end.
The way he couldn't keep his eyes open in the corner should have been a sign to stop it, but you can't blame Tapia for being a warrior. He did his best and his people either didn't look out for him or thought he could do more. IMO they just had confidence in him, and to be honest a W against Kirkand is always just a lucky swing away...
