McCrory won his title at the Louisa Sports Centre in his and my hometown of Stanley.

I remember my mate, who, like me, was 10 at the time, and had been at the fight, came running up to me the next day saying that Glenn was going to fight Tyson next.

His dad was lurking nearby with an amused expression and said `Course he is son, course he is...`

I'd take Glenn over Enzo. Late stoppage.

Your mate was right, McCrory fought Tyson quite a lot actually...

...only in sparring mind ;) Think he racked up just over a hundred rounds of sparring against Mike, very good.

    and he was never dropped.

Another thing Glenn McCorys brother was in the gym and Oliver McCall (another tyson sparring partner) said to Glens brother lets spar I will take it easy on you - so they sparred and McCall went heavy on him on purpose and broke his brothers nose.

This is why McCory regards McCall as a dodgy character

Yeah I remember that, before Tyson vs Lewis he was being interviewed even more than usual for his opinion, having seen both of them up close.

There was a BBC North East documentary last year about his efforts to get the Cuban 2012 team based at his gym in Newcastle for their pre-Olympic training. He was well received over in Cuba and even got himself a Che Guevara tattoo!
