Certainly looks that way. be a shame I liked Glenn, often rambled a bit and sometimes didn't answer the question asked and went off on a tangent instead, but overall I liked him. Looks like Sky want some younger / fresher faces on, probably see more Paul Smith or Tony Bellew on there now I would guess. I imagine Carl Froch will get a gig full time when he retires
Quite clearly he didn't fit in with ethos of Sky. It's a shame but was always likely to happen given his dislike of certain fighters.
Glen was the best one on Sky and the only man who gave his honest opinion. Sky want clones like Jonny Nelson, Tony Bellew and Paul Smith :deal
Totally agree I will listen to mccrory though he is sometimes not great but I'd rather listen to him than the others they are all company men and to be honest I am one that turns down the sound when they switch back to the studio more often than not .
Smith to be honest gets on my tits he is hard to understand at times and seems to be very careful of what he says he obviously wants to get into the set up and will brown nose a bit
just said this on twitter "I don't work for sky mate they have binned me! Adam smith" seems harsh and he looks pretty bitter about it... how does nick halling still have a job
Sacking glenn is the worst thing they could do. Now its just going to be every pundit agreeing that matchrooms fighters will always win. No doubt everyone of them will say brook beats porter.
Yeah, they want everyone to tow the company line, hype the Matchroom fighters to the point the public think they are PPV worthy, making Sky more money. Oh, and Brook does beat Porter
He defo can, but theres also a very good chance he loses as hes never fought at this level before so we dont know what hes capable of. This was one of the arguments they used for froch beating groves. Will they use this as an argument for porter beating kell? I highly doubt it.
