Dawson is 25, two years younger then Cotto.

Dawson will get better, the guy hasnt even reached his physical prime yet.

I think he was more concerned about his retirement , and the money aspect of it.

Glen Johnson is the truth. What he said needed to be said, much respect for the Road Warrior.

Glen was cheated by criminal judges. The best judges money can buy.

Those are fair points. I think just ONE 7-5 or 6-6 card would have made me feel better, strangely enough, and I had Dawson in a bet. I gave Glen rounds 2, 4, 5, 9, 10, and 12, and could probably see giving him the 11th as well.

Taking taxes, camps, and family into account, I doubt Glen is exactly squared away for life. Hopefully he's tucked some away, or made quality investments.

And inspite of all of this, Dawson did impress me tonight. Just not to the degree that he did the people who controlled the outcome, by any stretch.

It's not the first time he's screamed robbery. His true colours show when he loses....the man is a pain in the ass.

I don't remember the Johnson-Ottka fight as a "job". It was a fair loss. One forgets how fast Ottka was, get his hit in and get out of town for the rest of the round. They did not call him the Phantom for nothing.
I am glad for Johnson that he did a his normal very respectable job...impressed the hell out of Dawson, who don't want to fight him again. That says volumes.
