Riste to my knowledge seemed to fall off into the abyss. Not aware of an serious decline or retirement. But it's been almost 3 years since he fought.

I need to go back and rewatch the first. He might have won it legitimately as Sittichai wasn't as accustomed to kickboxing as he is today.

Harut Grigorian vs. Cédric Doumbé for the Glory Welterweight title. This a top fight and the winner will almost certainly throw down with Murthel Groenhart who had a dominant win on last weeks card. Groenhart has history with both going 1-1 against both fighters. So regardless he'll have a chance to come out on top in a rubber match. Interesting division. Definitely one where a hot potato scenario with the belt isn't out of the question.

 

Riste should get back into things. Where the **** did he go?

To this day this is still one of the most shocking things I've seen as a fight fan as I'm sure @IntentionalButt will attest to.

 

He's got the hang of things again. Hasn't lost since the Riste fight and after some time off has fought regularly again. Picked up the inaugural Lightweight title in Bellator earlier this year. Would like to see him back in Glory though as that's where the best fights are.

He did beat Illazov though which is about as good a win as one can have outside of Glory. He and Sitthichai need to throw down though. Asap. That's as a big fight that can be made in kickboxing
