Raquinel started well, now he's turned off mentally :(
Under-card feels like it's dragged a lil now

I was so proud of my deductive reasoning prowess in figuring out who the combatants were despite recognizing neither (and neither having their name printed on their waistbands) and the graphics all being in Chinese. I knew "Tiger City" is a gym in the PI and Raquinel was the only Pinoy - and only southpaw - among the B-sides on the card...plus these looked more like flies than welters or even lightweights.

This is the co-main/chief support btw, the rest of the card has been and gone.

Raquinel really impressed me in his two Japanese bouts, but had moments against Nakayama where he sleep walked, kinda feels like that again...

I still don't think he's getting outclassed or anything; Tuolehazi isn't doing anything to distinguish himself either. But they are in China, so...

And yeah that makes sense timing-wise, as current local time in Changsha is quarter past 10pm. I figured the main event couldn't be more than an hour away from starting which is why I hurried to get the RBR up as soon as I got outta the rain and onto the library computer. :deal:

Tuolehazi seems to be sort of a one trick pony with his telegraphed leaping jouster's lance right hand lead.

When he lets both hands go Raquinel is able to completely shut down all of Tuolehazi's offensive instincts. The problem is sometimes he starts just traipsing around in circles taking little breathers and that's when he gets sniped with those rights.

Right dude, 2 rounds left, finish the show and don't let the judges get involved!

I was about to say I don't even know what round this is, because the stupid Chinese graphic only has the countdown timer from 3 minutes but doesn't actually give the round number itself. Thanks.

Jay-r controlled the 11th, keeping the right jab in Tuolehazi's face like a paddle-ball and gyrating in a crouch at mid-range, slipping the right hand leads or batting them down with his left glove held readied up by his own face. They had an exchange at the bell which the commentators and crowd overreacted to, not sure either guy landed flush.

Tuolehazi just lacks any creativity or finesse. He doesn't work to create angles for himself, doesn't bother with the jab to set anything up - just keeps squaring up to Raquinel and drilling right hands, either to his abdomen or face.

WHOA as I'm typing all that he drops Raquinel heavily with a right hand.

Nice finish, both guys throwing and landing combos.
