Hi guys, after the best part of 20yrs I am gonna get myself back into the gym again. Need advice for what gloves to get. For now it will be just gloves for bag and pad work not for sparring at the moment. Nothing too expensive, after a while once I get more a feel of what I need I will upgrade them. So advice would be welcome please.
Buy yourself some Winnings - just save up and buy them. They are worth the money plus you will get YEARS out of them. I've had mine since 2011 and they are going strong.
I always liked the look of Lemarr gloves - my mates in the gym used to use them when they first launched.
Fully agree, if your taking it seriously there a great glove. Had a pair of 10oz ones and they were by far the most comfortable glove I've ever worn, wish I never sold them now. Everything about them to the hand compartment fit was brilliant. I've got a pair of pound 4 pound uk boxing gloves currently which I use/used for general training, bag, pad work and really like them, nice big hand compartment and comfortable. If I get my arse into gear and take boxing more seriously again I'd pick up another winning pair though.
Stay away from Sabas Gloves - supreme garbage glove. I spent £200 on a custom pair and the padding is already strated to lump up a little after 30 sessions.
That's disappointing to hear, I nearly ordered a pair of there super soft gloves after hearing good reviews. Have you messaged them to see if they will replace them?
Bro im not gonna even bother - they were a custom pair so I don't see how they are gonna give the money back. My Winnings are still in perfect condition - I just wanted a hook and loop pair for quick on and off while training.
