    Hiya,

I'm new to boxing and training for a white collar charity event.
Has anyone got any advice to reduce some red marks / glove burn on my face from sparing?
    Cheers.

I never had this problem, likely because of the liberal use of vaseline before a sparring session. If you're not already doing this, get on it! Aside from avoiding these types of burns/scrapes, you could also avoid potential cuts that could ruin your chances of competing.

And a LOT of head movement. When I was new, getting hit in the face was a regular thing. When I learned to move my head, it was a different story.

Good luck with your training, and make sure to update us on the outcome of your fight!

How to stop face marks.... stop getting hit in the face as much?

But unfortunately, i dont think you will be able to manage it.

My advice? Quit now. Find another sport
