Glovegate got me thinking: theres still ZERO evidence Margarito loaded up against Cotto

    The best argument I've heard that Margarito 'always' loaded his gloves was that he never scored another KO after he got busted....
    Fair enough, but truth of the matter is I think the devastating KO he suffered that night against Mosely followed by the beating Pac put on him when he came back had just as much to do with it than anything in his gloves.
    Bullies are never the same after they've gotten their asses handed to them.
    As far as Cotto, I think Margarito whooped him fair in square, and even as a shell of himself in their rematch was going much the same way until Cotto started targetting the injured eye.
    It's hard to feel sorry for Margarito, but I think people are too quick to dismiss his career.
    If he had been loading up his whole career he probably would have had the process down well enough not to get caught.
    Also cotto didnt start making that claim till after the Mosely fight. You would think if he were getting hit with loaded gloves he would have known something was up right then and there

    This. I don’t buy into Margarito loading his gloves either. He beat Cotto like he owned him fair and square.

    Antonio Margarito NEVER EVER loaded or even try to load his gloves. He LEGITIMATELY kicked Cotto's ass & scared off both Floyd & Oscar. They both thought Cotto would win & both wanted to face him. Antonio upset their plans he was in the way & had to be removed but neither had the balls to face him.
    Hence he was railroaded, his career & good name tarnished by a blatant lie from Richardson about "Plaster Blocks" which never existed. The CSAC ran with it like the Keystone Kops & an innocent mans name & career was basically ruined
