If you're using mma gloves then that's a problem. I myself am ordering rival boxing gloves. Which you can get a titleboxing.com or rivalboxing.com. I've heard great things about Title Gel gloves, ringside imf gloves, and most of the rival gloves. Also are you wrapping your hands correctly?
Then you probably bought some cheap gloves. If you have some money to spend then grant, reyes, and rivals are great. If not, get some title gel gloves
Boxing gloves are a very personal issue. In order to find the gloves that are right for you unfortunately it will require trying several types and brands. Just because a famous boxer endorses one particular brand does not mean that you will like it. The best advice is to buy the top of line gloves from one of the most recognized companies like Grant, Winning, Everlast, Reyes etc. If you don't like them then try another. BTY, do you have a hand injury? Address that issue first.
If the pain is in your wrists, the chances are that your gloves aren't the problem. If the pain is that sore, first up, you need to stop punching, and secondly you need to see a doc. You could be looking at a stress fracture, carpel tunnel syndrome or something similair. Have you had any history of wrist injuries? Have you been shown how to wrap your hands properly? Have you been taught how to punch correctly? Do you do any form of training for your hands and wrists? How heavy is your punchbag?
I've heard good things about the rivals, the only thing is that their glove sizes come bigger than normal gloves
1. I have one hand injury about 5 months and take rendgen (x-rays) my doctor said my hand is ok only stop boxing for few weaks but my hand was swollen after that 3 weaks. 2. My handwarps aint long enough to warp like in the instructional video from title boxing 3. Yes i know how to punch 4. No 5. approximately 70 kg (160 pound)
Right then, this is a good place to start. We'll go through these in order. 1. What was the injury to the hand? 2. Get longer handwraps, or wrap your wrists seperately. 3.You may know how to punch, but have you been shown by an experienced trainer? I'm not trying to say that you don't know how to punch correctly, but there might just be something in your punches that needs tweaking. Trust me, this is worth looking at. If you have access to a trainer, talk to him and ask him to check your form. 4. As a fighter, your hands and wrists are extremely important, you must look after them. I don't know if you know of the various ways to train your hands and wrists. If you do know how, include them in your workouts. If you don't know, ask, and i'll give you some help in this area. 5. 70kg is a pretty heavy bag. Do you have access to a lighter one?
1. this is specialist medical report Contusio manus sin, and that I earned in bar fight see i dont injured wrist only knuckles btw: croatian doctors are very corupted and i dont have money to go to private clinc because doctors do not take much care of their patients and only bandage you and sent house without any review if they do not recive money or gift 2. yes i will get longer handwarps soon 3. in regard to that I club fighter who visit the competition so that the problem is not that 90% 4. i heeat hands before practice. but I will begin to seriously train hands 5. yes i have access to lighter bag
Ok, it seems like we have eliminated your previous hand injury from this issue. Handwraps - get the longest ones you can find, and when you put them in, ensure that your wrist is stable. If you are certain that your form is good, no need to change anything there. Hand/wrist workouts - Always ensure you perform joint rotations before every workout, really emphasise this on your wrists. If you perform press ups, do them from your fists. Reverse barbell curls will help. Another one is to get a bucket and fill it with dry rice, dig your hands in and grip try to squeeze the rice as hard as possible. Perform wrist curls, with palms facing down and up. You can also perform a farmers walk with heavy dumbells. Another very good forarm developer is to 'pinch' some weight plates together and hold them for as long as possible. Finally, if you can get a round piece of wood (something like a cricket stump), drill a hole through the centre and attatch a piece of rope (about 1 metre is good), and attach a weight to the other end of the rope, then grip the wood in both hands and roll the wood so the rope wraps around the wood, raising the weight to the wood, and lower again. Start using the lighter bag and see if the pain persists. Hope this helps
Thank you very much on the advices I hope so that the hands will be same like before and i will start training hands more times at week
