Set for a semi-final matchup how does this one rattle out? Hoping that Glowacki's straight forward style will bring out the Briedis of the Usyk fight and before.
All depends on Briedis, if it's the Briedis of the last two fights, then Glowacki by UD, it's its the Briedis from Usyk and Huck fights then UD for Briedis. But, I think something is just no longer there for Briedis, his coach left after the Usyk fight as he apparently wasn't paid because he didn't do his job properly and I've read he stopped paying his sparring partners so I think Briedis is gone mentally.
Agree with Briedis' mindset having a lot to do with the outcome. That being said with Glowacki in his face all night it'll either bring the best out of Briedis or he is going out on his ass.
I heard Briedis was on the receiving end of a gift last night. I also think Usyk beat him eight rounds to four, so I am not that impressed. Briedis might be one of those odd cats that can do better at heavy where he can use his considerable power to tee-off on a few immobile dinosaurs. Glowacki fairly easily.
Based on past form I'd pick Glowacki to beat him, which leaves the tournament open to anyone really, even Tabiti. Briedis really looks to have fallen out of form lately. Shame, as I considered him the second or third best CW in the world prior to the start of the tournament.
Briedis had an off night last night against a very crafty spoiler type fighter. He vs Glowacki will be a FOTY candidate and MB will either stop him late or UD.
Depends if briedis gets his act together cause this was horrible to watch. Something went wrong in camp
