I'm conflicted as hell, I think Vlasov is the better boxer of the two, and has better technique and power since moving up to Cruiserweight. I think he has a chance to outwork and KO Glowacki late. But Glowacki is durable as hell, and has great powers of recovery when he is hurt, so there's a huge possibility he can soak up everything Vlasov has to offer, come back and stop him late. After all Vlasov was hurt by Chak and Sillakh.
I like both fighters, and I think it's a close match-up. But Vlasov has looked good in recent fights, he's better at cruiserweight than he was at light heavyweight a few years ago. So I'll pick him to win.
I think Vlasov has a very good chance. Unfortunately his trainer had/has visa problems and might not be able to come to the US at all.
Also, so many people pronounce Glowacki as GlowaKEY, but it's just the same ending as "tsky". So, it should be pronounced as Glowa-tsky.
Hard to pick a winner here, so I'm going with the more proven guy of the 2. Vlasov is the slight bookie favorite, but I expect a close decision for Wacko. Wouldn't be surprised if we see the first draw of the WBSS series here
In Poland you do not spell the L at all. It is used as a English W if it isn't the last letter of a word. Gwo-watsky is right. But the first W is more soft, not that hard like the second one. And for the topic: GWO-WATSKY wins a close UD with one KD.
Hey.... close enough, that's better than most Americans could probably pronounce it. And let's be honest, when said fast... Ke and Kr, not much difference is there?
The correct pronunciation of his name is Kris (as in Chris)-Toff Glow (as in glow in the dark) whack E
Hard fight to predict. Even though Glowacki boxed at SHW in the amateurs (he was fat) and Vlasov has come up from SMW, the pole actually came in 4lbs inside the CW limit and IIRC he only weighed 202lbs in the ring against Cunningham. Vlasov weighed in 2lbs heavier than Glowacki at 198lbs so he might possibly be the heavier man tonight and is a very skilful and awkward customer. Glowacki carries a lot of power though so he will have to be very mindful of that. This content is protected
I favour Vlasov to win a comfortable decision. It seems he has reached his prime. Glowacki, although he gave a good fight to Usyk, he wasn't impressive afterward at all and I think he has declined significantly.
