GSP by being the best P4P fighter in the UFC.
Don't let that nasty thing on his elbow make you doubt him!

i see gsp taking this by a dominate decision,i think alves is great and dont want to sell him short but i think gsp will be to much for him in this fight

I got GSP all the way. I'm a little scared for him though. Alves is a big 170 and a hard hitter. And GSP's elbow doesn't make me feel any better about tonight either

The one thing we know, if anything, is that GSP can be unpredictable. He has a bit more dynamics in his game than Alves -- with Alves, you know what you are going to get, he's gonna come forward and try to knock your head off. GSP sometimes will strike, sometimes will take you down, sometimes a bit of both.... that gives him the edge, but all it takes is for Alves to catch one time, that is if GSP gives him the opening. I have a feeling GSP is gonna try to play it real safe and not give Alves any opportunity to strike,,and he'll try to wear him down early with gnp and take him into late rounds. its gonna be up to Alves to make an opening and take him out. Will he be able to? thats what we gotta see.

I have a feeling this fight will be a stand up war. Both fighters have great takedown defense. Both have great striking but alves i believe have more power with his fist. I can see alves stopping gsp just like serra did.

I dont think alves want this fight to go to the ground since gsp i heard is slippery:nut:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Anyone here think that GSP could have stopped Fitch but for some reason stepped off the gas and carried the fight?

Could be looking back on it. He had Fitch hurt bad numerous times and it seemed that perhaps just a few more hard strikes could have done it. But I dunno, maybe Fitch is just that hard to finish.

No, he couldnt stop Fitch, because Fitch is extremly hard to finish. GSP has good finishing skill and subs, but he just couldnt on that night.
