I'd gladly hit Valuevs promoting team with a steel pipe over and over. This is like stepping on boxing history.
I think the odds are in favor of Valuev throwing and bashing Holyfield around, but even this late in the game, I think Holyfield is the better boxer. Whether he turns that into a win is the big question. I guess I doubt it... but I am not a sure as so many others on this forum it seems.
our local priest...he's 65..about 5-1"...skinny old feller.. keeps saying he has god on his side... dunno if he could do valuev though.. .
What would happen if he wins? Does Valuev get torn down and deemed "overestimated" (not that he is too highly estimated), or does Holyfield get raised up and praised something akin to Hopkins when he beat Pavlik?
Holyfield has shown us over and over again that he's well into "shot" territory. If he wins clearly and cleanly, I think the the verdict will be that Valuev is suckish.
If Holyfield happens to win, it will REALLY enhance his legend. Frankly, given how far gone he seems to be, it would be a more impressive achievement that Foreman.
Man. I hope holyfield can take this. It would enhance his legacy big time. BUT then again, if he loses, maybe he will retire. Valuev UD
As a resident of Atlanta and an Evander fan I hope he knocks Valuev out. If not I hope Valuev fight Vitali Klitschko. Vitali will beat Valuev to a pulp. I can't believe Valuev would take this fight and have the nerve to say "there was nobody else available".
If Evander looses , i bet he will keep getting title shots untill hes about 55 with the losses on his record catching up with his wins
It's crazy, but somehow I believe that Holy has a shot. He doesn't have to KO Valuev to beat him. I'll be cheering for Evander in this one (and, that's rare for me!)
