Mike Tyson's peak was exactly one minute into the Spinks fight. Everything else deserves an *. He was either pre-prime or past prime. 4 realz.

much as i like holyfield, youd be ignoring more if you ranked him over lewis than if you didnt.

and GOAT lists cant really tolerate the second man. i fully believe holyfield would school dempsey, however that dont make him greater.

you can only really clean out your division and dominate your division. no one can ask more than that.

Tyson had fought about 7 rounds in 5 years when facing Holy. That meant nothing.

Evander Holyfield was without doubt, the greatest domestic heavyweight I've ever seen.

Unfortunately, never having fought outside of the USA, and only beating other American fighters, really rather rules him out of comparisons with other ATG's.

When Holy tried to step up (too late into his career really, a bit like Joe Calzaghe) he was found short, as his fights with Lewis showed.

It wasn't until his mid 40's and Francois Botha that Holyfield finally beat a non-american fighter.

Lewis and Tyson fought in different countries, against men from many different countries. Unfortunately Holyfield never made that step.

Rahman's peak was at 2.60 of the 5ft round against Lewis.

That guy would hammer the Tyson at 60 seconds into the Spinks fight.

Ive always felt Tysons prime was against Berbick or maybe Biggs, i think by Spinks he was becoming slowly mentally ****ed, if you read the autobiography by Peter Heller youll know what i mean

Muhammed Ali was NEVER KNOCKED OUT.NEVER.NOT ONCE.EVER.NEVER.He was stopped by the ref in the Holmes fight because he couldn't defend himself due to his being beyond shot to ****,but he couldn't defend himself from the beginning of the fight until the end.Lewis was a great heavy, but his fans desperately need to get over THE FACT THAT HE WAS KTFO ONCE AND BRUTALLY STOPPED ON ANOTHER OCCASION.GET OVER IT,BOYS AND YOU'LL FEEL MUCH BETTER.

I can NOT understand the reasoning how some fighters are suddening past their prime, merely cause they meet a better fighter, and are beaten like a rented mule.

    Funny how that works.
