I guess it all depends on how you rate Fury. If not highly, someone needs to explain why Usyk was getting toyed with so casually for half the fight.
Ha,ha,ha,,,yeah ,I've seen the skills of Wilder and the Pillsbury dough boy Ruiz and his ilk. P.S. Jack Dempsey would have sent Fury to the hospital tonight
Same here, I would rather see an AJ and Fury fight than an Usyk rematch. Nothing more to prove from Usyk.
You my friend, are the one that said a 35 year old Ali lost to Spinks. That prompted me to say, at that age, Ali had many more pro fights. It's difficult to compare primes because Ali did not fight most of his prime. For me personally, it difficult to say who is greater. Usyk is beyond outstanding. I think he showed today what greatness in the ring really is. Not unlike Ali did against Foreman. Very similar. Both men past their primes, up agsist much bigger opponents. Many believed they would lose. And they both pulled out remarkable performances. At this point, all I can do is have great respect for both men.
Yeah i don't doubt Ali. And they fought a lot more often. But Ali never fought anyone as skillful or powerful as AJ and Fury. And while Ali had way more PRO fights. Usyk has way way more total fights. I don't see how people don't take amateur record of 335-115, and winning every single thing there is in Boxing. You are one of my favorite posters on here, so i don't want to argue with you. Let's enjoy the win, and that's it.
Here is the guy that all week long said how Usyk will get smacked, and Fury is ATG. Let me remind you all, that before the Ngannou fight, all of the Fury fans claimed that he is the GOAT by far, and H2H monster that will beat everyone.
Likewise. You see it as arguing, I see it as an exchange of thought. There really isn't a right or wrong in these type of situations. And yes, we will enjoy this great win.
At 37.5 years old, and his speed and footwork on the verge of being shot to s****, he exposed all of the past fighters like Mike Tyson, Lomachenko, Povetkin, Haye, and the rest of them, with so many labeled as having good footwork, etc. He just showed them how to beat a big man. Mike Tyson having a good footwork, but he always struggle against clinchers. And Usyk just beat the most notorious dirty cheater/clincher/holder that has ever existed in Boxing. He never allow Fury to clinch on his own, and he did it with his shot to **** legs. Imagine what 28-30 years old Usyk would do to all of them. Usyk from Gassiev fights, stops any version of Fury with ease.
AJ got dominated by Usyk twice. Fury just lost a close war with Usyk and has a rematch ahead. AJ remains #3 until he actually beats Fury, which is unlikely. #1 USYK #2 Fury #3 AJ #4 Parker #5 Zhang/Hrgovic It's actually quite sad how you're trying to diminish Usyk's win over Fury.
