Love that movie and Jennifer Connelly is still stunning as ever in it.

    A little background on Kilimanjaro:

He obviously became less well-known than Chisora has, but if his career wasn't cut short by HIV and he got that crack at one Lennox Claudius Lewis - who knows? I'm not saying he would have been likely to upset The Lion, but we are talking about the very green 7-0 version that was still five years away from linking up with Emanuel Steward and consequently leveling up - and Chinembriri, while raw and cumbersome, did possess some of the attributes you would look for in a one-shot upset candidate to achieve what McCall would a few years later in '94. Namely he was big and strong, with sort of the opposite formula McCall had (massive power and decent chin instead of decent power and iron chin). If the young Lennox got cocky and made a mistake, hey, this is boxing, anything could happen. It would for damn sure have made Chinembriri a less obscure footnote in the sport to have snatched that particular star prospect's zero. Not sure there's any path whereby could have become champ, though, just too damn slow.

If they fought, btw, I would tip Chisora to cruise past Chinembriri via UD, comfortably. Despite the Zimbabwean's power he simply isn't as good as the men that stopped Del Boy.

    I remember Proud Kilimanjaro.
He fought Hughie Currie and Horace Notice. Lost to both.

Notice could have been a very fine cruiserweight (or, if transplanted into the current scene I guess he might campaign at bridgerweight) - think a detached retina did him in?

Yes, he retired with the detached retina in the late 1980s. Was in the Terry Lawless stable, which also featured Frank Bruno and Gary Mason at heavyweight. He was definitely on the smaller side.
