My country? Im not from the US if that is what you meant. I live in a very secular country, where most people only enter a church when they get married or burried. Even this is more tradition than it is religion. Though Im embarrassed to say that Denmark is one of a few countries that still has a state church (to which you pay taxes, unless you (like me) actively states that you won't).
You forgot to mention the fear of death, another main reason for these irrational beliefs Oh noes!! I cant really die!! I'M IMMORTAL, I HAVE TO BE! my body might die but my soul (another fairytale) will live forever in heaven/the elysian fields/paradise/walhalla/vaikutha/whatever:rasta
Floyd doesnt sound like hes all there sometimes either. Any interview you see with him and hes asked about non boxing related things he makes no damn senseatsch
Void is afraid of Pac and everyone knows it................... Void thinks he is God, but that does not make him God............
Well said. Magic Johnson and his wife still maintain that God "chose him" to have HIV and speak to people about it, or something like that. It's obviously a bunch of crap, but it helps them deal with it.
Voltaine said (paraphrasing) "Uncertainty in this life is unpleasant but certainty is insane." This applies to believers and unbelievers alike. The arrogant santimonious self- righteous condescending poses of today's atheists mimics the "church lady" of SNL and the carrictures of the ultra uncompassionate mean spirited believers I have known.
pac was a pretty good gambler himself too....pac was no saint....he was just everyones darling and most of what he did was swept under the rug..... people always wanna call floyd a "woman beater".....as if he literally threw hands at a woman.....but this quote from big boi should serve as a reminder "cheating...beating...and to a g that mean the same thing" being married and running around with other women publicly.....man that hurts a woman prob just as bad if not worse
