And when he gets stopped he will come on here and say Cleverly can't punch, would of beaten him if i had more time to prepare and so on and so forth.

I like Bellew and I like this fight (even at short notice) but realistically Clev will take him out.

Me to, I like fighters with a seek and destroy Boxing style, fighters who fight aggressively, but do it out of a Boxing stance, rather than out of a brawling type of stance. Ironic that Bellew's favourite fighter is Bowe, as that is the kind of style Bowe had.

Bellew will do well to add more wrinkles to his game down the road, not focus so much on utilizing his power game, but I think he has enough to cause the aggressive, stationary, Clev issues

Clev fights too square, which gives you both sides of his body, he fights aggressively, but is tall, so instead of widening his stance, bending his knees to get smaller, he leans his head foward, making him a sucker for the uppercut. Clev is also not very effective from range imo, its like he almost has to be in your chest, otherwise he becomes more hittable.

What Clev does have going for him, is he has a lot of heart, underrated speed, a good body attack, and has shown a decent to good chin thus far, not to mention, excellent stamina and mental fortitude.

What I would worry about, is how Tony reacted mentally during the Ajisafe fight, he seemed to be beating himself up mentally cause he was frustrated.

If Bellew does actually step into the ring it wont be such a bad move by Warren even though he was intending to get more mileage out of these 2 meeting down the road. Warren has known for some time that Bellew wont be stepping up to world class so it isn't such a bad move to utilise him for this salvage job. If it's at all competitive they could then even rematch but unlikely

think it will be tough for him, but the guy has shown what he is made of by wanting the fight on short notice. i just hope he dosnt have to cut too much and can turn up in the best condition possible.

After Bellew struggling technically in his last 2 fights vs average domestic operators and showing a questionable chin in the process, then Warren is cashing in no doubt.

My hope is that Bellew fights the right fight and lands on that chin!

I am a big Cleverly fan but have to say fair play to Bellew!
Hope its an explosive fight. Just a shame its late notice for Bellew as this fight should of had a big build up!

    Good luck to both lads!

Prefer this to Clev vs Braehmer easy!

Well done Bellew for not only saving the bill, but arguably making it more exciting!

I'm a Clev fan, but I've always liked Bellew, seems like a hard working no-nonsense chap amidst all the bravado.

Two British grudge matches on one night, very, very exciting.
