I couldn't agree more. I've been saying this for weeks, but every time I did I'd be shouted down by fans that are desperate for a big fight. Sorry, but this isn't it. Shane wanted a big payday and Floyd didn't want to fight Pac yet. This fight is a joke. And anyone who pays for it is sucker.

I won't watch it. You marke my words, it's a mismatch. Shane isn't ready, willing or able to go through what he'd have to go through to win a fight against Mayweather. He'll try at the start and accept his defeat around 5 or 6 round. Lopside victory for Mayweather...Big pay check for Shane. Everybody wins except the stupid fans.

This must be a joke, Mayweather would tear Jones to shreds. I like Jones, but he's nowhere near on the level of Mayweather. The both of them actually have a common opponent; Henry Bruseles. Floyd completely toyed with Bruseles and eventually stopped him in the 8th. Jones struggled a bit against Bruseles, and won a lackluster decision.

 

I see you don't have a real reason for Pacquiao not taking the tests. You say the NSAC has their own rules and that's true. One of their rules is that boxers are allowed to ask for extra testing. If Mayweather wants extra testing and it's legal, then how is he wrong?

Maybe he didn't ask Marquez for extra testing, because he doesn't believe that Marquez is on PED's. If half of boxing feels that Pacquiao is on something as Judd Burstein said, then maybe Floyd might have a reason to ask for Olympic style testing.

 

No he would not. Incidently, Naazim wanted Shane to fight a tuneup bout against Jones before fighting Mayweather. Jones is not on that level.

Look...I agree that Shane isn't young anymore and that this fight 4 yrs ago would have been much more difficult for Floyd but SHANE IS THE MAN at WW whether you like to accept it or not....he's no push over. Yes the chips are stacked against him based on his age and the things that go along with that.....but shane has power....he's still fast....he KNOWS his experience is greater than Floyds that that may be a deciding factor IF Shane pulls off the upset.

I don't see Shane winning myself b/c he'll be a tad slower than Floyd....Shane has shown trouble with movers who are fast and Floyd is a very cautious fighter who is sharp. He won't be taken out of his game plan no matter if he is shook, hurt, rocked or floored. Floyd is there to win and avoid any risk of NOT pulling out anther "W".

So we'll see the younger, faster guy out boxing and moving and avoiding the offense of the older, slower and more experienced fighter.

Floyd by UD....close competitive early...Floyd takes control and dominates after ad******g to Shane's habits.
